Why audits matter
Making sure your business, or businesses that you engage, have effective systems in place to manage risks associated with heavy vehicle activities, can be an integral tool in any assurance program. Audits enables businesses to have a structured way to identify gaps, consider opportunities, and benchmark operations against industry standards – with visibility, accountability and digital recordkeeping all built into the process.
Our audits can help you:
- Identify gaps in your CoR compliance before they become costly problems
- Demonstrate due diligence to regulators and stakeholders
- Reduce liability by proactively managing transport risks
- Improve safety outcomes across your supply chain operations
- Maintain certification that proves your commitment to compliance
Think of auditing as your CoR health check – it’s there to help keep your business protected.

The audit process
AMCAS audits (Australian Master Code Auditing Service) help supply chain parties assess their safety management systems against a tool aligned to the ‘2018 Master Code’ registered under Heavy Vehicle National Law. Originally established by the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) to represent a growing need in industry, AMCAS was acquired by NTI in March 2023 and is now delivered through CoRsafe.
