CoR Investigation to Follow Incident that Killed 4 Melbourne Police Officers

The Trucking company involved in the recent crash that killed 4 police officers, will face a full Chain of Responsibility (CoR) investigation following the truck driver being charged with culpable driving.

In all cases involving a heavy vehicle it is standard practice for the NHVR to launch a full investigation, to ensure that company drivers keep to legal driving hours, that vehicles are roadworthy, and that Chain of Responsibility processes exist and are being followed.
